If your time permits, excursions outside of Lucca can be arranged. So much to see, among them: Pisa, Florence, Sienna, the Cinqueterre, the Garfagnana, the Versilia coast, Montecatini, Collodi and Lucca’s own beautiful villas. If time doesn't permit excursions, there is still plenty to do right here and because Lucca is so compact it's easy to fit in a leisurely breakfast, museum hopping, antique hunting, a four course lunch, a little nap, a walk around the walls, an aperitivo at  bar on the piazza, a concert and then a pizza for dinner. See Lucca  on a bike, rent shops abound, and see it even faster. Go around on the walls, one of the  most exceptional parks in the world.
